Welcome to Code Forge, a service provided by Carolina BI Solutions ("we," "our," or "us"). By accessing or using our Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). Please read them carefully.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

Code Forge is a free AI-powered code generation tool that converts natural language descriptions into code in various programming languages including SQL, HTML, JavaScript, CSS, and React. The Service is powered by Anthropic's Claude API.

3. Account Registration

To access certain features, you must create an account by providing a valid email address. You are responsible for:

• Maintaining the confidentiality of your account
• All activities that occur under your account
• Notifying us immediately of any unauthorized access

You agree NOT to use the Service to:

• Generate malicious code, malware, or code intended to harm systems or individuals
• Generate code that violates any applicable laws or regulations
• Attempt to circumvent usage limits or security measures
• Resell, redistribute, or commercially exploit the Service without permission
• Use automated scripts or bots to access the Service excessively
• Generate code that infringes on intellectual property rights
• Harass, abuse, or harm others through use of the Service

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

6. Intellectual Property

Your Content: You retain ownership of the prompts you submit and may use the generated code for any lawful purpose, including commercial projects.

Our Service: The Service, including its design, features, and underlying technology, is owned by Carolina BI Solutions and protected by intellectual property laws.

AI-Generated Code: Code generated by the Service is provided for your use. However, we make no claims of ownership over generated code and do not guarantee that generated code is free from third-party intellectual property claims.

7. Disclaimers

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED.

We do not warrant that:

• Generated code will be error-free, secure, or suitable for any particular purpose
• The Service will be uninterrupted or available at all times
• Generated code will not infringe third-party rights
• Results will meet your requirements or expectations

You are solely responsible for reviewing, testing, and validating all generated code before use in any application, especially production environments.

8. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, CAROLINA BI SOLUTIONS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR GOODWILL, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE.

Our total liability for any claim arising from these Terms or the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim, or $100, whichever is greater.

9. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Carolina BI Solutions and its owner from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including legal fees) arising from:

• Your use of the Service
• Your violation of these Terms
• Your violation of any third-party rights
• Code you generate or deploy using the Service

10. Tip Policy

Tips made via Ko-fi are voluntary contributions to support the continued development of Code Forge. Tips are non-refundable and do not entitle supporters to any additional features, services, or support beyond what is available to all users.

11. Modifications to Service

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time. We will make reasonable efforts to notify users of significant changes.

12. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the new Terms on this page and updating the "Last updated" date. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

13. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of North Carolina, United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

14. Dispute Resolution

Any disputes arising from these Terms or the Service shall first be attempted to be resolved through good-faith negotiation. If negotiation fails, disputes shall be resolved through binding arbitration in North Carolina, except that either party may seek injunctive relief in court for intellectual property violations.

15. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.

16. Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Carolina BI Solutions regarding the Service.
